Who we are

This is the privacy policy for consumeit.in, run by Consumeit. We are based in India and work online with businesses anywhere.

What we collect

When you just look around

The site has no accounts, no logins and no shop. If you say no to analytics, we collect nothing about your visit ourselves. Our hosting providers may keep ordinary server logs (such as your IP address and the pages requested) to run and protect the service.

If you say yes to analytics, Google Analytics records which pages you view, roughly where you are (country or region), your device and browser type, and how you reached us.

When you contact us

The contact form does not send anything by itself. When you press the button, it opens your own email app with your message ready to send. We only receive it when you send that email. We receive whatever you put in it, such as your name, email address, business and what you need. If you email us directly, we receive what you write.

Cookies and your choice

We do not set any cookies of our own. Google Analytics sets cookies only if you choose "Yes" on the cookie notice. If you choose "No thanks", or you do not choose, no analytics code is loaded.

You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

Used only after you agree. It measures how the site is used. Google processes that data under its own terms.

Fonts

The typefaces are stored on this site's own servers. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts to load them.

Instagram (Meta)

We link to our Instagram pages. We do not embed Instagram content. If you follow a link, Instagram's own privacy policy applies from that point.

Render and Cloudflare

These companies host and deliver the site, and may keep technical logs of requests.

Your email provider

If you email us, your message passes through your provider and ours.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers.

How we use it

• To reply to your message and, if you ask, prepare a quote.
• To see which pages are useful, so we can improve them (only if you agree to analytics).
• To keep the website working and secure.

We will not add you to a mailing list without asking you first.

Where it is processed

We are in India, and the services above are run by companies that operate in other countries, including the United States. That means information about your visit may be processed outside the country you live in.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to reply and to keep a record of any work we discuss or do. Ask us and we will delete them sooner, unless we need to keep something to meet a legal duty. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the UK, EU, California, Australia, Canada or India), you may have the right to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email us and we will help. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can also contact the data protection authority where you live.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS. It is a static site with no database and no user accounts. Messages sent to us sit in our email account, which we protect with access controls. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot promise it is.

Children

This site is for businesses and professionals. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change what we collect or which services we use, we will update this page and the date at the top.
